PHOTO-PAINT VIDEO: The Difference Between Resolution and Measurement
In this PHOTO-PAINT video you'll learn about the relationship between resolution and the measured size of the image. One other wrinkle are the terms dots per inch (dpi) and pixels per inch (ppi). If you think of those two terms as meaning the same thing, that will reduce the confusion. In PHOTO-PAINT, you'll see that the measured size (in inches) can be drastically different than the measured size in pixels. They're not the same. Learning about resolution and measurement is extremely important, not just for PHOTO-PAINT, but for all other imaging applications, such as CoreDRAW, Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, 3D applications and others.
