VIDEO: How to Work With Covers, Text Boxes and Shapes in MS Word

Printer-Friendly Format

The cover is where this tutorial begins. All the elements on this page are floating, meaning they are easy to move around, including the cover image. While this creates a lot of flexibility, it can also lead to issues if you select the wrong element and move it. If this happens, click on CTRL+Z to undo it.

Note that the cover page contains 3 elements:

  • The cover image

  • Text Boxes

  • Shapes

We'll look at each of these in turn.
